Cookie Policy
What each cookie does, who sets it, and how to change your mind at any time.

1 What Cookies Are #
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. On a return visit the browser sends it back, which lets a site recognise a returning device, remember a preference, or measure traffic.
This policy also covers similar technologies — localStorage, pixels, and SDK identifiers — because they serve comparable purposes even though they are not technically cookies.
2 The Categories We Use #
| Category | Purpose | Set by | Can you refuse? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | Remembering your cookie choice, keeping the admin session secure, basic security | QuickCalcify | No — the Site cannot function without them |
| Analytics | Counting visits, seeing which calculators are used, finding slow or broken pages | Google Analytics | Yes |
| Advertising | Selecting ads, limiting repetition, measuring ad performance | Google AdSense and partners | Yes |
Analytics and advertising scripts are not loaded at all until you consent. Decline, and they are simply never requested.
3 Preferences Stored on Your Device #
Three settings are saved in your browser's local storage rather than in cookies. They are never transmitted to our servers and are readable only by this site on your device:
- Theme — your light or dark mode preference
- Currency — the currency symbol shown in finance calculators
- Consent choice — which cookie categories you accepted, so you are not asked repeatedly
Notably, the values you type into calculators are never stored anywhere. See our Privacy Policy for the full explanation.
4 Changing Your Choices #
You can revisit your decision at any time:
- On this site: click 🍪 Cookie Settings in the footer of any page and update your selection. It takes effect immediately.
- In your browser: every major browser can block or delete cookies for individual sites or all sites, usually under Settings → Privacy.
- For advertising specifically: opt out of personalized ads at Google Ad Settings, or across many vendors at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.
Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the Site from working. Blocking analytics and advertising cookies will not affect any calculator.
5 Third-Party Cookies #
Analytics and advertising cookies are set by Google under its own policies, not ours. You can read how Google handles data from sites that use its services in its partner-sites notice.
We do not sell data, and we do not share your calculator inputs with anyone — they never leave your browser in the first place.
6 Updates to This Policy #
If we add or remove a service that sets cookies, this page is updated and the "Last updated" date changes. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent again.
